LAKE WORTH, Florida (AP) -- A Florida teenager faces a charge of elder abuse alleging he made his senile grandmother wear a black mask and hold a handgun for a video he made.

Police in Lake Worth, Florida, say the 85-year-old woman is seen and heard on the video threatening to shoot "all the pigs."

Authorities say 18-year-old Michael Alfinez was arrested Monday and charged with abusing an elderly person, discharging a firearm in public and improper exhibition of a dangerous weapon.

Palm Beach County sheriff's detectives seized the video during a traffic stop in January.

The teen's mother says it's all just a misunderstanding.

You are right, I have an uncle who lives in Orlando, and he is trying to move here as soon as possible, he said you have to be some kind of fool to walk your dog without a gun, in his subdivision, and it is far from a gheto

first off the OB isnt really in a bad area at all

thats simply a big misconception......the only ones who think its a bad area are A. the incredibly ignorant ones who have never actually been there and form opinions based off of other ignorant people who have never actually been there and B. those who get scared around a large group of cuban people who speak little to no english

the reason they are tearing down the OB has nothing to do with the area its in....because they are planning to build the marlins a new stadium on that same site

the reason they are tearing it down is because the shitty of miami is a corrupt ass city and despite using bonds to raise money to fix and update the OB.......that money was never spent and the stadium just got more and more run down and to a state of such disrepair that they didnt want to pay to fix it.......they would instead prefer to spend a few hundred million for a team that draws 7k a game

the part about fla becoming the wild west has alot to do with the new gun laws down there

they are basically trying to make it so that everybody can carry a gun and can use it is they feel threatened because they say somebody looked at them funny

the problem is that alot of people in florida......namely the natives are inheritantly stupid

when you give stupid people the freedom to easily own firearms and carry them it encourages them to use them.......stupid people + guns = bad idea
